Mom I just want to share some memories I have, my first tricycle, The pig with the big B on it, going down the park, got to Stauffers, Knoebles and Hersher and stopping for ice Cream at Indiantown Gap, You talking with Helen Leona and sometimes Jenny. Going up to Uncle Eddies cabin and stopping for a drink at the place with the Indian statue. Getting out of school to go to the Bloomsburg Fair. The time you pulled my name for a prize and then called another name….I was happy for a few seconds anyways. You going for walks with little Marie. The time coming back from Uncle Eddies with the pigs head that I dropped and it went rolling down the street. Putting up the Christmas tree and keeping it up til after Frankie’s birthday. Making those French fries and filling up the cone cups and all the kids lining up to get them. Going to Sunday School at your Church and the Christmas Play. The time I gave all the lollipops away to the kids and I cried and you got me more. How you cried when I joined the Army. Going down the Keith’s wedding. Going for dirt for Grammy and going for mushrooms…The sidewalk sales, going for Ice Cream at the corner store over Mahanoy City. Going to Pottsville to go to Town and Country, Sears and Pomeroys. All the times we went back to school shopping. Pick you up after work at Jeans and going to either Pottsville, Reading, Mt Carmel, Hazleton or Wilkes Barre. Going down to Marylou’s….and all those talks we had for the past year or so. You wer so right when you said I will miss yo someday…..Goodbye Mom, Love Butch.
