Anne E. (Priga) Sikorsky, 85, formerly of East Coal Street, Shenandoah, and a resident of Coopersburg, passed away Monday at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.
Born in Shenandoah, Feb. 19, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Stanley T. and Ella Jane Lawson Priga.
She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.
Anne was a retired bank teller, having worked in New York, Philadelphia, and the former Union Bank, now M&T Bank, Shenandoah.
She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, the former St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Sikorsky, March 29, 2010; three brothers, John, Edward and Stanley Priga; three sisters, Lorraine Priga Vinsko, Norma “Theresa” Priga and Evelyn Priga.
Surviving are a brother, James Priga and his wife, Susan, with whom she resided in Coopersburg; nieces, nephews and their families.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
