Carmella Conti Przybylik, 83, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Thursday morning at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah Heights.
Born in Shenandoah, July 25, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Rose Catrone Conti.
She first worked as a presser for the former Pat Pancerella’s Dry Cleaning and then for the former Burk’s Drug Store, both of Shenandoah, and retired from the former Schuylkill Dress Factory, Shenandoah Heights.
Carmella was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, and was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Paul Przybylik; a brother, Louis Conti; and her companion, Fred Schmidt.
Surviving are a sister, Catherine R. Wills, with whom she resided in Shenandoah; two nephews, Victor and Charles Conti, both of William Penn, Shenandoah; her caregiver, Nancy Blackwell, Mahanoy City; and friends.
Prayer and scripture services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
