Helen Urbanowicz, age 93 a former resident of W. Arlington St., Shenandoah passed away Sunday morning at the home of her sister, Sophia L. Moll in Lawrenceville, Georgia where she resided for almost five years.
Born in Shenandoah on May 31, 1920 she was a daughter of the late Konstanty and Ludwiga (Szmuski) Urbanowicz.
She was educated in the Shenandoah public schools.
She was a retired garment worker having last worked at the former Alma Dress Factory, Shenandoah.
She was a member of St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were two sisters and a brother-in-law, Adele Urbanowicz and Josephine Curry and her husband John; one brother, Stanley Urbanowicz, a nephew, Francis Curry and a great-nephew, Jeffrey Curry.
Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Sophia L. and her husband Dr. Francis K. Moll of Lawrenceville, GA with whom she resided; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Relatives and friends may call Friday at St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. There will be no viewing or services from the funeral home.
