Oh My … , my Aunt Connie, and now Uncle Hobie… God bless them both. Over the years we loose contact, but family is still family. I can remember when he used to work for the airlines in the 50′s… myself, and three brothers just loved the airplane pictures he would bring us in Mahanoy City when they’d visit. I can even remember when my dad (Connie’s brother) passed in 1949, I was four, and to see all the relatives, family’s and friends visiting us for the wake [OK, I was only four] … was a big deal….but especially the cars .. I think they had a Kaiser/Frazer … like Wow! … and visiting them in Pearl River NY (70′s) with my brother Bill and Jean-Marie his wife was also a good remembrance.
I have no idea if there are any relatives, Yago or Bender relatives left .. if so, please contact via email to reminisce …

  2. Kelly Boyd says:

Hobart was my good friend for over twenty years, in good times and bad. I have many fond memories of him, and pray that he has been reunited now with his precious Connie. Families become disconnected in later life, for one reason or another, but all this will be forgotten someday. What matters is remaining connected to God. I hope to see him again.
