Dorothy (Koszyk) Yezulinas, age 86 of Shenandoah was called home to the loving arms of her Savior on Thursday morning at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on July 9, 1926 she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Mickolyczyk) Koszyk.
She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah, Class of 1947.
On December 31, 1949 she married John R. “Cottie” Yezulinas who preceded her in death on May 20, 2011.
Dorothy was a member of St. George’s Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and her husband were two sisters, Elsie Igielski and Helen Waddell.
Surviving are her caregivers, her sisters, Tecla A. Garbarino of Frackville, Rose Rydzy of Shenandoah and her nephew, Joseph Yezulinas of Ashland; three additional sisters, Agnes Wargo and her husband Michael of Shenandoah, Florence Kostowskie and her husband Robert of Palmerton and Judy Orzechowski and her husband Edward of Middlesex, NJ; additional nephews, nieces and cousins.
Prayer and scripture services will be held Monday at 8:15 AM from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow at 10:00 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
