Robert M. “Robbie” Letcavage

Robert LetcavageRobert M. “Robbie” Letcavage, 49, of 705 Brockton Mountain Drive, Barnesville, passed away Tuesday at his residence.

Born in Shenandoah, Feb. 12, 1963, he was a son of Dorothy Majkowski Letcavage, Shenandoah Heights, and the late John P. “Johnny Letko” Letcavage Sr.

He was a graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School, Class of 1981, and also attended McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City.

Rob worked as a construction worker for RGC Group, Bath, and was a member of Laborers Local Union No. 158, Harrisburg.

He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church and a social member of the American Legion Post No. 74, both Mahanoy City.

Penn State LogoRob enjoyed attending and supporting his children’s football, baseball, swimming and band activities. He was also an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Kimberly A. Drumheller, to whom he was married 18 years; three children, Justin Robert Letcavage and Meghan Elizabeth Letcavage, both at home, and Caroline Cook, Pittsburgh; two brothers, John Letcavage, Shenandoah, and Stephen Letcavage and his wife, Theresa, Mahanoy City; two sisters, Janice, wife of Jeffrey Bradbury, Shenandoah Heights, and Cheryl Letcavage, Shenandoah; an aunt, an uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Prayer and scripture services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah, is in charge of arrangements.
