Frank A. “Bulldog” Muraczewski

Frank A. MuraczewskiFrank A. “Bulldog” Muraczewski, age 83 of 12 North Lehigh Street, Shenandoah passed away early Tuesday morning at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Shenandoah on May 26, 1928 he was the son of the late Francis B. and Melanie (Suchocki) Muraczewski.

He was a graduate of the former Shenandoah Catholic High School.

Frank was last employed by the Bureau of Labor and Industry, Shenandoah office as a claims representative.

He was a member St. Stanislaus Church, Shenandoah and its Holy Name Society.  He was a former member of the Rum Dums, the Moose Lodge and the Liths Club all of Shenandoah.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife, the former Isabel Bernatowicz in 1987; a brother, Louis Muraczewski; and a sister, Clara Peznosky.

Surviving are his caregiver and loving companion of 17 years, Patricia Voscavage; three sons, Frank B. Muraczewski and his wife Charlotte of Belchertown, MA, Ronald and Gerald Muraczewski both of Shenandoah; three daughters, Evelyn wife Kerry Fatula of Vine Grove, KY, Susan Muraczewski and Diane Joseph and her husband Gary all of Shenandoah; five grandchildren, Jason and Ashley Muraczewski, Shawn and Kerry Fatula and Zachary Joseph; two great-granddaughters, Danielle and Fiona Fatula; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 6:15 PM from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:30 PM in St. Stanislaus Church.  Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until the time of services.

Interment will be held Saturday morning at 11:45 am in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
