Joan V. Bonomo

Joan BonomoJoan V. (Tarlecki) Bonomo, age 73 of 41 Trailer Rd, East Union Township, Ringtown passed away peacefully Monday morning at her residence with family at her side.

Born in Shenandoah on September 16, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Adam and Veronica Bykowski Tarlecki.

Prior to her retirement, Joan had worked at both St. George and Annunciation BVM rectories in Shenandoah.  Earlier she was employed at City Shirt Factory, Mahanoy City.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Shenandoah.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a sister Dorothy Boyle.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years Guy A. Bonomo; a son, Tony Bonomo and his wife Michelle of Pattersonville; a daughter, Anita wife of David Keselicka of Treskow; three grandchildren, Chad and Carly Bonomo and Adam Keselicka; a brother, Bernard Tarlecki of Lost Creek; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Prayer and scripture services will be held on Saturday morning at 9:45 am at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah.  Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian will officiate.  Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 8:00 AM until the time of service.  There will be no calling hours on Friday evening.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
