Rose H. (Zeminski) Milewski, age 95 of 228 S. Ferguson St., Shenandoah passed away Sunday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center – East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on January 22, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Greshock) Zeminski.
She was a retired garment worker having last worked for the former Connie Fashions, Shenandoah.
Rose was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Shenandoah where she was a dedicated pierogy maker. She was also a member of the Greater Shenandoah Area Senior Citizens and the ILGWU.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Albin A. Milewski in 1965; a sister, Eleanor Tubbs; three brothers, Michael, Leonard and Joseph Zeminski.
Surviving are three sons, Albin Milewski and his wife Louise of West Chester, Charles Milewski and his wife Sandy of Anchorage, AK and Robert Milewski of Shenandoah; three grandchildren, Mark Milewski and his wife Amanda of Eldersburg, MD, Ann Louise Twohig and her husband Bill of West Chester and Christopher Milewski and his wife Jackie of Milton, WA; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Chernetsky and Theresa Tunilla both of Shenandoah and Florence McCloskey of Baltimore, MD; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Stanislaus Church, Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 8:00 AM to the time of service. There will be no calling hours on Wednesday evening. The family prefers donations to St. Stanislaus Church Memorial Fund, 108 W. Cherry St., Shenandoah, PA 17976.
