Blanche E. Mazack, age 86 died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Hatfield.
Born and raised in the village of Turkey Run, Shenandoah she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Laura (Stadalnikus) Jankaitis. Blanche was the wife of the late Martin G. Mazack.
Along with raising her family, Blanche worked for many years in the garment industry.
She was a member of St. George’s Church, Shenandoah and a former member of the Defender Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, Turkey Run.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband were brothers, Victor, Alphonsus and Stanley Jankaitis and sisters, Laura Yackabonis and Joann Busila.
She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her daughter Arlene Mazack Rowley of Hatfield; sons, Richard Mazack and his wife Diann of Gilberton and John Mazack and his wife Bobbi Jo of Turkey Run; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Adolph Jankaitis and his wife Anna of Turkey Run; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 am from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 11:00 am in St. Casimir’s Church, Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral on Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until time of service.
