John R. Yezulinas, age 84, of Shenandoah was called home to the loving arms of his Savior on Friday surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Shenandoah on February 7, 1927, he was the son of the late George and Anna Yezulinas.
John was a World War II Army Veteran having served in the 349th Infantry 88th Division, “The Fighting Blue Devils.”
He was a longtime employee of Purolator Products at the former Pattersonville plant.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Albin, George, Alex and Joseph Yezulinas; two sisters, Antonina Yezulinas and Ann Dunlap; three nephews, Antanas Yezulinas, Joe Yezulinas and John G. Dunlap.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, the former Dorothy Koszyk; a brother, Peter Yezulinas of Fairborn, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:45 am from the Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian will officiate.
Interment with military honors will follow at 12:30 pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:45 am.
