Albert F. Kleponis, age 74 a former resident of S. Chestnut St., Shenandoah and Holy Family Assisted Living, Orwigsburg passed away Thursday at the Schuylkill County Home, Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Tamaqua on May 30, 1936 he was the son of the late Albert and Winifred Waselfsky Kleponis.
He was a member of St. Casimir’s Church, Shenandoah.
Albert was last employed at the Beacon Diner, Hometown. Earlier he worked at the Taylor Diner in Tamaqua.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two sisters, Louise M. Kwiatkowski with whom he had previously resided and Mary Kleponis.
Surviving are a brother Joseph E. Kleponis and his wife, Kathleen of Gettysburg; two sisters Helen Williams of Morea and Agnes Bachert of Allentown; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Casimir’s Church, Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. There will be no calling hours on Monday evening.
